Shipping policy
Orders are despatched from our McLaren Vale winery within 3 business days of receipt of order. Shipping times to major Australian cities and metropolitan areas are generally 1-7 days from the date of despatch. Rural and remote areas may take longer. There may be delays with public holidays, at Christmas with our warehouse closure, or due to our heat policy, and we'll try to let you know about these as they arise.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within a few weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases, you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper, the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request.
If you need to return an item, please email us (sales@maxwellwines.com.au) with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions on how to return items from your order.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
