Gourmet Traveller Wine recommends Silver Hammer Shiraz

The June/July issue of Australia's Gourmet Traveller WINE magazine has seen McLaren Vale's 2009 Maxwell Silver Hammer Shiraz chosen as one of the country's Best Buy Wines at $20 or under.

In yet another nod to the quality of wine leaving Maxwell Winery's doors in the heart of McLaren Vale, respected wine consumer publication, Gourmet Traveller WINE, has selected the 2009 Maxwell Silver Hammer Shiraz in its list of six Best Buy Wines at $20 or under in the June/July 2011 issue. Included in the review were the comments "The flavour is deep and the shape is round and smooth, with succulent sweet fruit - almost opulence - while it also preserves enough structure to take some ageing well."
